How does a bio-fireplace work?
A bio-fireplace is an eco-friendly version of a traditional fireplace and can be used in any ventilated room in a house or apartment, as well as on a balcony, terrace or in a garden. Its construction is heat-resistant, making it safe to use.
Does a bio-fireplace need extra installation?
The bio-fireplace runs on bio-ethanol based on ethyl alcohol. Therefore it requires neither a chimney nor an electrical connection. This gives you complete freedom to place the fireplace wherever you want.
Does a bio-fireplace heat a room?
Yes—it is perfect as a supplementary heat source. You can quickly raise the temperature by 2–3 °C. However, it shouldn’t be the main source of heating. Choose a fireplace size that matches your room for optimal results. In a 25 m² room, the temperature increase will be clearly noticeable.
Installing the bio-fireplace
Mounting a wall-hung bio-fireplace is simple and takes less than half an hour!*
All necessary mounting parts—such as mounting rails and wall plugs—are included. The rails do not cover the entire length of the fireplace; they are ergonomically designed.
The bio-fireplace should be hung at least 50 cm from flammable materials. Once mounted, place the burner into the opening.
*Time excludes any additional recess work.

Our wall-mounted bio-fireplaces feature burners with a TÜV safety certificate issued by TÜV Rheinland. The burner has a double bottom and an absorbent insert to prevent unwanted spills of bio-ethanol.
A flame snuffer is included so you can extinguish the fire at any time.
For added safety, a funnel is provided for easy, spill-free refuelling.
Our products are completely safe, but remember basic safety rules:
– Never add bio-ethanol while the fireplace is burning.
– Ensure the combustion chamber is completely cool before refilling.
– For extra safety, transfer bio-ethanol from the bottle into a smaller container and dose directly from it.
