How does a biofireplace work?
A biofireplace is an eco-friendly take on the traditional fireplace and can be used in any ventilated room, as well as on balconies, terraces and in gardens. Its construction withstands high temperatures, keeping you safe.
Does a biofireplace need extra installation?
The unit runs on bio-ethanol (ethyl-alcohol-based fuel). No chimney or electrical connection is needed. That means you can position it almost anywhere you like.
Can a biofireplace heat a room?
Yes — it’s a great supplementary heat source and can raise the temperature by 2–3 °C in minutes. It should not, however, be your primary heater. Choose the right size for your room: in spaces of about 25 m² the heat boost is very noticeable.
Installing the biofireplace
Mounting a wall-hung biofireplace is simple and takes under 30 minutes!*
Everything you need is included, such as mounting rails and plugs. Follow the manual to position the rails — they’re shorter than the fireplace for ergonomic handling.
Mount the unit at least 50 cm from flammable materials. Once it’s fixed, place the burner in the housing cut-out.

Each wall-mounted biofireplace is equipped with a TUV-certified burner from TUV Rheinland. A double bottom and absorbent insert help prevent accidental fuel spills.
Every set includes a snuffer, so you can extinguish the fire at any time.
For extra safety, a funnel is supplied for convenient refuelling.
Please follow these basic safety rules:
– Never add fuel while the fireplace is burning.
– Ensure the combustion chamber is completely cool before refilling.
– For best results, pour fuel from the bottle into a smaller container, then dose directly into the burner.
