How does a biofireplace work?
A biofireplace is an eco-friendly alternative to a traditional fireplace. It can be used in any ventilated room in your home as well as on balconies, terraces, and in gardens. Its construction is resistant to high temperatures, making it safe to use.
Does a biofireplace require additional installation?
The biofireplace is powered by bioethanol, an alcohol-based fuel. As a result, it does not require a chimney connection or electricity. It’s a convenient solution that allows you to place it anywhere you like.
Does the biofireplace produce heat?
A biofireplace works great as an additional source of heat. It can increase the room temperature by 2–3 degrees in a short time. However, it should not be treated as the primary heat source. Choosing the right size of the biofireplace for your room is important for optimal performance. The perceived warmth will vary depending on the size of the room. For example, in rooms of about 25m², the heating effect will be noticeable.
Assembly of the biofireplace
Assembling a free-standing biofireplace is simple and takes just a few moments!
The fireplace set includes all components required for installation. It should be placed at least 50 cm away from flammable materials. Once installed, place the burner into the designated slot in the housing.
Our products are completely safe – but remember the basic safety rules!
- Never add biofuel to a burning biofireplace
- Before refilling make sure the combustion chamber has completely cooled down
- To increase safety we recommend pouring the fuel from the bottle into a smaller container and then dosing directly from it into the fireplace
