The S5 also supports lossless audio CD (Compact Disc, the standard for recording audio on a compact disc). Furthermore, aptX™ (Audio Processing Technology X, an audio compression technology), aptX™ adaptive, aptX™ Lossless, aptX™ HD (High Definition, audiohigh definition) provide high resolution audio (up to 24 bit / 96 kHz sampling rate) and extremely low latency.
